Ginebra trades for PBA season 37 updates

This is one of the biggest PBA trade news that I read in the news-feeds on my Facebook and in the Tweets on my Twitter yesterday. It was about a trade involving Ginebra (A Popular Ball Club), B-Meg (Favored Team because they are the LLAMADOS) and Barako Bull (Energizer Team) in preparation for next Conference's basketball wars.



PBA Commissioner Chito Salud has approved the 3-way trade between B-Meg Llamados, Barangay Ginebra Kings and Barako Bull Energy.

B-Meg gets JC Intal and 2012 2nd Round Pick of Barako Bull

Ginebra gets Kerby Raymundo and Dylan Ababou

Barako gets Ronald Tubid, Reil Cervantes, 2014 2nd Round Pick of Ginebra

Based on the updates that I got, I think that Kerby "The KID" Raymundo of B-Meg (From being a Kid to being a ROYALTY (A King), and Dylan Ababou of Barako Bull (Former UST Tiger) will go to Ginebra, The Barako Bull on the other hand will get Ronald Tubid (From The East(UE)) and KG Canaleta (From The East(UE)). The two will be re-energized. And finally, B-Meg will get JC "The Rocket" Intal and a future draft pick of the Gin Kings. He is the Rocket that will land on the Favored and the powerful Team, B-Meg.

Trade Rumors : Kerby Raymundo to Ginebra

If plans come to fruition, versatile big man Kerby Raymundo could be wearing a Ginebra uniform when the PBA Commissioner’s Cup starts next month.

Multiple sources told InterAKTV that B-MEG is working on a deal to send the 31-year-old forward to the Gin Kings. The Llamados could receive a package that includes Ginebra center Enrico Villanueva and forward JC Intal.

But since the two franchises are sister teams under the San Miguel Corporation umbrella, PBA rules allow no direct player transactions to be made between them. A source privy to the negotiations said that Barako Bull could serve as the third franchise in the deal, and that more players could be involved.

A 10-time all-star selection and a three-time member of the PBA mythical squad, Raymundo has been part of the Purefoods franchise since 2002, winning the Governors’ Cup finals Most Valuable Player award in his first tournament with the team. After missing most of last season due to injury, the former Letran stalwart made a triumphant return for the Llamados in the Philippine Cup, ranking first on the team in assists, second in rebounding, and third in scoring.

Curiously, B-MEG, Ginebra, and Barako Bull were also involved in a blockbuster deal last conference that sent Llamados forward Rico Maierhofer and Energy rookie Allein Maliksi to the Gin Kings.

A Facebook status coming from Ginebra's former import, Chris Alexander a.k.a. Mr. Toothpick, shook the emotions of the Ginebra Gin Kings fans. That's probably the reason why his status became viral in the internet and in the Ginebra Gin Kings Facebook Groups and Pages.

In his status, the former best import seemed to be emotional and mindful of what's happening in the Ginebra Gin Kings import selection process for the upcoming PBA Season 37 Commissioner's Cup next year. He feels that he is not the top choice of the Kings and it's noticeable in his tone.
